Blueprint of Being

Blueprint of Being was an immersive and site-specific sensorial theatre show produced by Teatrul Senzorial in partnership with the Municipality of Timisoara and the Hungarian National Theatre, in the fall of 2024. The show blended theatre with visual arts, creating a performance that both acted as an immersive show and as a contemporary art exhibition.

Sebastian Dobrescu was invited by the Youth Cultural Centre of Novi Sad to coordinate a 7-day workshop-laboratory through which a new Sensory Labyrinth Theater show was devised alongside a group of youngsters.

Liminal

“Liminal” is a 3D immersive transdisciplinary installation, which takes place in a 30m wide geodesic dome. 

The installation takes the public along a journey that crosses the realms of reality into the boundless domains of our imagination.  Through “Liminal” the spectators are invited to take a break from the world’s incessant run & struggle towards the future, by cherishing the present moment and reflecting upon our place within the vast cosmos.

Together for Better - Community Festival

The festival was part of the National Cultural Program “Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023”.

The festival hosted the local community in the Youth House, inviting them to take part in a series of participatory activities – 5 performances of the Labyrinth Sensory Theater show “The Refuge”, 7 transdisciplinary artistic workshops and a panel with 13 local speakers on various topics such as community, sustainability and mindfulness.
